Enable Maldives Launches Malé Travel Guide, the First Dedicated Guide to the Maldivian Capital
MALÉ, Maldives, July 10, 2026 — Enable Maldives today announced the launch of Malé Travel Guide (maletravelguide.com), the first travel guide dedicated to Malé City. The platform launches with more than 700 listings spanning restaurants, guesthouses and hotels, attractions, and everyday services across Malé, Hulhumalé and Vilimalé.
The Maldives is covered extensively online, but that coverage almost always stops at the resorts. Malé City itself, home to a growing number of guesthouses, restaurants, and experiences, has never had a guide of its own. Malé Travel Guide was built to fill that gap.
“The question we kept hearing was, why Malé?” said Ibrahim Faarih, founder of Enable Maldives. “Our answer is another question: why Delhi, why Hong Kong? A capital is worth knowing on its own terms. The Maldivian capital is compact, walkable, and full of places worth a visitor’s time, and until now no one had put it all in one place.”
The guide is aimed at two kinds of traveller: those who stop at Velana International Airport with time to spare and want to see the capital, and those who set out specifically to experience what the capital of the Maldives is like. Its relevance is set to grow with the Thilamalé Bridge, which will further connect and expand Greater Malé in the years ahead.
